• Perform analysis of defects and interprets quality control rejection and failure trends.
• Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements.
• Using checklists, perform daily work site Safety Inspections and Foreign Object Damage Inspections.
• Monitor tool control programs, inspects, and maintains records to ensure that measuring and test equipment meets calibration requirements.
• Maintain Quality, Safety, Training and Certification Records.
• Coordinate with the Customer Quality Assurance Representative concerning quality matters, mandatory inspection points and final acceptance inspection of contract end items or services.
• Inspect forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Shall have five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience.
• Shall have at least one-year experience inspecting CH47 aircraft assigned.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.
• Shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P).
• If no A&P, shall have a minimum five-year experience as an aircraft inspector on the CH47 airframe they will be inspecting.
• Shall hold a valid (current) FAA Inspection Authorization (IA). If no IA, shall have a minimum five-year experience as an aircraft inspector on the CH47 airframe they will be inspecting.
• Must be in possession of a U.S. Passport and be able to travel internationally with minimum 6 blank pages and 2 plus year validity on expiration date of passport at the time of hiring
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Clearance (NAC-I T1).
• US Citizenship is required to obtain a NAC-I Clearance.
• Must be able to pass Army MOD 16 Medical for deployment.

The Aircraft Maintenance Test pilot Utilizes flight test techniques to perform test flights of aircraft to measure performance and handling to determine airworthiness following maintenance or modifications.

• Deploy in country, when required, to support contract requirements when maintenance test flights are anticipated.
• Interpret meteorological data as it pertains to filing a flight plan for the navigational course of flight needed for a sortie and files a flight plan for all flights using authorized processes. Ensure proper documentation is chronicled.
• Capable of computing and annotating weight and balance logs for the aircraft.

Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with a significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct interface with the PM, TL, PC, QC, and RSLFAC MTPs, Responsible for flight safety, crew member currency, disposition of final MTF status ensuring aircraft airworthiness is validated.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• 1,000 hours of pilot in command time, and have at least 300 hours in the same aircraft type and design (CH-47F).
• Experience in CH-47 phase or RESET management.
• Graduate of a US Military aviation maintenance test pilot course or civilian equivalent training and experience.
• Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance on CH-47 Aircraft.
• Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft-related documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.

Employees receive a health and welfare benefit of $6.50 per hour paid up to 40 hours per week.
